General Gynaecology

My experience and interest in this field is extensive considering the fact that it involves an extremely broad spectrum of disorders. Fortunately I have gained immense knowledge over time, thus allowing me to manage and treat many of these disorders, be it by medical or surgical methods.

I regard myself as a general gynaecologist and therefore have the ability to manage most gynaecological disorders. It would be almost impossible to list all related conditions, however below are the most common conditions presented to me in my practice.

  • Contraception / Family Planning
  • Abnormal Uterine Bleeding
  • Infertility
  • Pelvic Organ Prolapse
  • Pelvic Infections
  • Chronic Pelvic Pain (Mainly caused by endometriosis)
  • Ovarian Cysts
  • Abnormal Pap Smear Result or Positive High Risk HPV Screening
  • Menopause (including Hormone Replacement Therapy, Osteoporosis)

Although the majority of patients present to me with a specific concern, my passion for Gynaecology is built on a solid foundation of preventative care. I offer routine gynaecological examinations including pelvic ultrasounds to achieve this.

A major component of my specialised field includes the surgical discipline, I have over the years developed exceptional skills in both open and laparoscopic surgery.
