I am an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in private practice based in Sandton at Mediclinic Morningside.
Having qualified as a general practitioner through the University of the Free State, I worked in the Eastern Cape’s public sector as a young doctor. On returning home to Johannesburg, I spent several years gaining my specialist degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology through the Colleges of Medicine in South Africa.
My career is my passion in life. I find that a holistic approach to my patient, considering all aspects of her life before advising, treating and managing her health, achieves superior outcomes. I have a distinct interest in the reproductive years of a woman’s life on her journey as she builds her family. I believe that my fresh and dynamic approach to my patients through my energetic and personable care is the cornerstone to quality patient care.
In the realm of cervical cancer, I am passionate about the difference that could be made in Johannesburg’s underprivileged communities, especially where limited access impairs prevention and treatment of this disease.
I believe that “Tomorrow will be defined by our children. Through the fostering love of a healthy mother, her children will flourish, crafting a better and brighter future for our nation.”
